This is a beautiful example of an Eisenberg Original. It is highly collectible because of it's early date, and it is made with colored stones, a bit more rare than the clear stones that are more commonly seen. This piece is a dress clip. Unlike the fur clip that has two very long sharp prongs that push down into the fabric, a dress clip is a lighter back that has a series of small metal spikes that clip to the collar of the ladies dress. Dress clips were often worn in pairs.
